Mount Rushmore

It was so great seeing Mrs. A last night and this morning. It was nice to sleep in a bed of normalcy even if it was an air mattress. Palin also liked our bed and we wrestled around a bit on it. We also met Mrs. A's sister and her family, so it was quite the full house.

After slowly waking up and getting going we headed out to see Mount Rushmore. It was crazy to see such a historical monument and all the history behind it and the men whose faces are forever carved into the earth. For a brief moment I was proud of our country.

My dad decided to surprise my mom with an early anniversary present. And she absolutely loves her new wedding ring!
