Tampa Bay Farmer's Market

Stephen and I stumbled across this farmer's market on our way home from Church one Sunday and swerved in to see what it was all about. The fruit, vegetables and flowers were all so vibrant! Everything looked so much more appetizing than what you see in the grocery store. We only walked away with hot sauce and salsa but it definitely inspired us to visit more and make fresh food a part of our lifestyle.

If you want to check out this farmer's market here is the address:

Tampa Bay Farmer's Market
623 S MacDill Ave
Tampa, FL 33609

*If you follow along on my Instagram you probably know that I am currently in England with my family! I can't wait to take pictures of everything!! I'll be sure to blog about it all when I get back but for now go follow me on the gram :)

Farmer's Market Love

Farmer's markets are amazing! I had no idea. I've seen some beautiful pictures on instagram of people's trips to their local markets, but not really being all that great in the kitchen made it a little bit less appealing to me. But then one weekend after Church Stephen and I stumbled across a Farmer's market with all sorts of vendors. Basically after that I was hooked on how much more beautiful fresh food looked. I've never seen yellow cauliflower, purple cabbage, peppers, or carrots or dragon fruit before. Exploring the different farmer's markets in the area is definitely going to help me get in the kitchen more and be healthier!

Later I will share more about each of the different farmer's markets we've been to :)

One Rainy Evening

Sometimes I just need to get back outside, even though I work outside all day everyday. I have some serious wanderlust issues haha! So, even though it was a little rainy I had spotted a few furry faces near the apartment that I wanted to say hello to. It was so nice to get out and get my legs moving and practice my picture taking. You don't always have to go far to get some adventure.

No joke this was the sky. It was like the whole world was filtered.

Working on my portrait photography.

Tampa Skyline Sunset

Stephen and I have spent a good amount of time checking out just about every park there is in the Tampa area, but haven't done a lot downtown or in the neighboring city of St. Petersburg. I found a bridge that overlooked downtown Tampa and the sunset reflecting off the building windows was amazing! Now I feel the need to find more locations to see the city skyline.

If you want to visit this location here's a close address:

Columbus Statue Park
300 Bayshore Blvd
Tampa, FL 33606

A Wild Encounter

What an unexpected surprise! We just went for a walk to see pretty houses and take some pictures and we look over the sea wall to see this little guy (he actually was huge! bigger than I've seen in an aquarium).  In an instant I turned into a four year old child and started jumping up and down screaming "DOLPHIN!" It totally was playing with us and we ran around back and forth for a while. Coolest thing ever!

**As a side note I was jumping around screaming and running like a crazy person and only one person out of the seven or so that passed us even bothered to what I was hysterical about. What the heck people?! Lol can you tell I'm not from here?

Picnic in the Park

Aren't picnics just wonderful?! I love them so much and have collected all of the appropriate picnic essentials, a red and black checked blanket and a beautiful basket. We have picnicked before and we typically go to the grocery store right before and get everything to eat. A couple of sandwiches, a bag of chips, drinks and fruit.

As we were walking through the park with our supplies, someone pointed and was like 'awe so cute!' We know ;) It was such a beautiful day to be outside. The park was so wonderfully full of other people enjoying their Sunday afternoon. Playing catch, birthday parties, BBQ's, fishing, dogs barking and children laughing. Just lovely!
